What patients say on Google

“I am very displeased with the poor communication skills that I have experienced with TMS. I find my experience very unprofessional and unacceptable. I was referred by my NP in December 2025 and it is now April 2026. I have not gotten anywhere and I feel as though they just left me "hanging." However, I do not put all the blame on TMS due to my insurance company denying me, but I was told ample times that they would appeal and fight for me. I have been rescheduled three or four times since January, in order for TMS to work with my insurance company. The day before my appointments, I was the one that had to call/text to see if I still actually had an appointment. They would finally reach out to me, at the very last minute, to reschedule me another appointment in two weeks. I finally called and texted to find out what the hold up was and I finally received a text saying that I would receive a call explaining everything that was going on. Needless to say, I never received a call and was just essentially left "hanging" once again. I felt like this was my last resort to receive help for my depression and anxiety, since I do not respond to medications or therapy. If you are simply not interested in helping people who are suffering from these disorders, then I suggest you be honest and communicate to people and not just leave them with no answers. This has only exacerbated my depression and anxiety not knowing what to do next. I suggest you practice on your communication skills, as well as empathy and sympathy. For a place that is supposed to help people with mental health issues, you have most certainly failed.”

“For those looking a nonmedication from of depression treatment, you may want to consider TMS. I recently started, and have gone 5 time so far. 7/3/2024 first time appointment and consultation was a quick. during your first session they will try to locate your motor response area and move just beyond that to where your emotions are regulated. Treatments last about 19 minutes, i think having headphones is handy to listen to music or something relaxing. I do find the dentist style chair very uncomfortable on my back. I kind of feel like I should be like in a massage chair having a spa day :). I wish the temperature in the office was better regulated as I run hot while in the office. (Updated 9/3/2024) it’s soo much more comfortable in the office! The first initial set of treatments will feel like a nail is being hammered away at your head. I have not quiet gotten used to that. the staff I have met so far have been pleasant. Thanks to Megan, evie and Tiffany for their top tier work ethic. Bonus shout out for bear! What a cute dog! I will update this as my treatments progress.( I took a month off for other treatment) glad to be back.”

“Sent in two online requests for an appointment, the only thing I got back was a form email saying someone would contact me "next week". Never heard anything else. Eventually I called to make an appointment, the woman who answered clearly had no idea what she was doing, she claimed she was new so I gave her some leeway. She gave me a date and time but no other instructions on what to bring or anything, which was odd. I never got any sort of reminder call, so the day of the appointment I called to confirm. Straight to voicemail. I called probably a dozen times throughout the day and all of them went straight to voicemail. I live an hour away and I just wanted confirmation before I made the drive. Needless to say I never got an answer and nobody ever called me back regarding my voicemail, so I didn't make the trip. For a place that specializes in helping depressed people, they've made it very clear that I'm not important.”
